Fingerprint and Handwriting Jewellery

At Afallon DNA Jewellery, we offer a unique and meaningful service that allows you to create bespoke pieces of jewellery featuring fingerprints, handprints, footprints, paw prints, or handwriting. Each design is carefully engraved onto high-quality 925 sterling silver, resulting in a timeless keepsake.

Our Range

Fingerprint jewellery is currently available in a variety of rings, keyrings, and pendants, offered in different shapes and sizes. In addition, we have jewellery designs specifically created for engraving handprints, footprints, paw prints, or handwriting, making your keepsake even more personal. Many of our items also offer the option to engrave names, dates, or special messages to further customise your piece. You are able to engrave text on the inside of many of our rings. 

How to Collect Fingerprints

You can easily collect fingerprints at home using these simple steps:

1. Use a pencil to rub hard onto a sheet of white paper, creating a shaded box larger than the size of your finger.

2. Rub your finger into the shaded area until coated with graphite.

3. Carefully press your finger onto the sticky side of sellotape, avoiding smudging or mixing prints.

4. Stick the sellotape onto a new sheet of white paper.

5. Take a clear photograph of the print and email it to us at afallondnajewellery@gmail.com.

Alternatively, if you’d prefer, you can select an inkless wipe kit at checkout, which we will post to you with full instructions.

Handprints, Footprints, Paw Prints, and Handwriting

For items featuring handprints, footprints, paw prints, or handwriting, please email a high-quality image to us at afallondnajewellery@gmail.com after completing your purchase. If you’re unsure whether your image is suitable, feel free to reach out, and we’ll guide you through the process.

Already Have Fingerprints?

If you already have fingerprints—such as those taken by a funeral director—you are welcome to send them to us. If you’re unsure whether your prints are suitable for use, feel free to email us, and we’ll be happy to advise.
